GARDEN OF EDEN KENYA, PRAISE REPORT!
Greetings from Nairobi, Kenya.
I pray this message finds you well and that the Lord is keeping you in His grace. We are doing well here; it’s winter on our side (though not as cold as Norway! ). The children’s home is full of life, and while the school in Kibera is on break, classes will resume on the 26th of August.

God is at work here, and we’d love to share with you the stories of two children who have risen to become shining stars. Their journeys are a testimony of His goodness and the power of walking together in faith.

Grace’s journey has been such a joy to watch. She came to the children’s home as a young girl, and today she is a confident, God-loving 19-year-old ready to chase her dream of becoming a teacher. This September she will be joining one of the best teacher training colleges in the country.

Since finishing high school in 2023, Grace has been pouring her heart into others; helping children with homework, serving in church, and even teaching in a children’s Bible school. Her creativity shines through in everything she does, like recently helping a girl design an outfit out of newspaper for a talent show. Grace’s dream is to become one of the best teachers in Kenya, and with her faith and determination, we believe she surely will.

Daniel’s journey is one of hope and transformation. When he first joined Saviour King Education Center in Kibera, he was a shy young boy from the village, unable to even speak Swahili. After losing both of his parents, his aunt brought him to our school, where he was embraced with love and given the chance to learn.

With the help of sponsorship, Daniel completed primary school, went on to a boarding high school, and later joined one of the top universities in Nairobi to study psychology. Today, he has graduated and stepped into the working world; a dream come true for a boy who once arrived in Kibera with little hope. His story is a beautiful reminder that with God’s hand and the support of many, lives can be transformed, families uplifted, and entire communities impacted.

These two stories are just a glimpse of what God is doing through this ministry. Together, we can do so much more and continue to make a big difference. Thank you for your unwavering support, and may God richly bless you.

Blessings,
Thomas and Beatrice.
