We are excited and thankful to be able to send you Christmas greetings from Nairobi, Kenya. We thank God for His grace that has sustained us in the midst of the Covid-19 virus.
The pandemic situation
In the beginning when the pandemic broke out we didn’t think we would be ending the year with such a heart of gratitude for so many things done. The pandemic affected much of our work; the school and church were closed, movement around the country was restricted and our visit to Norway in May was cancelled.
The poor in our slums were hardest hit because majority of them depended on a day’s income to put food on the table. It was sad to hear that somebody lost a life in a stampede while crumbling to get a 2 kg packet of flour.
It has been such a confusing time and we thought the year would end without anything being done, but we thank God and thank you so much for responding to the needs immediately we wrote to you for prayers about the plight of the people in Kibera slum. We thank God that you joined us to feed our people who were hungry, helping the sick and meeting other arising needs. We are still meeting these needs in Kibera and we are ending the year by sharing foodstuff with needy families.
Saviour Kings Academy
Grade eight and grade four resumed school three months ago and the rest are set to resume in January, 2021.
The new house
Thank you for supporting the construction of the big guest house in the children´s home. It is now at the plastering and fittings or finishing stage. Every stage has been huge for a seven bedrooms all self-contained. It is a worthy investment and we thank you for giving towards it
The chicken house
Thank you for the new modern chicken house, we have enough space where we are currently rearing chicken, turkey and ducks.
At the children’s home
There are more surprising and exciting things that God has done in and through our ministry this year.
Our children’s home was never closed and the children have had programs running. Some of the programs are studying, work duties, Bible study, music and dance training, instruments lessons and
mentorship.
GOEden Kids Kenya
The children have been creating content for their YouTube channel (GOEden Kids Kenya) that has two dance videos so far. Among the dances is the now popular Jerusalema challenge that was really fun to practice and create.

GOEden kids is a platform that nurtures talents like music and dance and aims to reach the whole world with the word of God.
